VST And Aladdin Team Up To Offer Compression Utility For FireWire Based Product Lines
VST will be bundling a host of Aladdin Systems software with their FireWire line of hard drives. Among those products to be included are DropStuff, ShrinkWrap, and even WeatherTracker. You can find more information at VST web site.
XLR8 Shows Demo Of MACh Carrier G4 MP Upgrade Cards
WAFollowing the announcement of the multi-processing iMacs at this morning's keynote, XLR8 released MP ready G4 upgrade cards. The Carrier ZIF MPe is expected to ship later this year. You can find more information at the XLR8 web site.
UMAX Demos First Consumer FireWire Scanner
UMAX is showing off the first consumer level FireWire scanner at this year's MACWORLD Expo. You can see a preview of the product at Expo booth #770. You can find more information at the UMAX web site.
