iMovie 2 Transitions Released

by , 2:00 PM EST, November 30th, 2000

GeeThree has released a set of 50 cool transition effects for use in Apple's iMovie 2 called Slick Transitions & Effects. Slick Transitions & Effects allows users to add professional looking effects to their movies, with little effort or technical expertise. According to GeeThree:

Transitions & Effects. This software is a collection of plug-ins that adds more than 50 new creative choices for Apple's iMovie 2. Slick Transitions & Effects provides digital wizardry once available only in expensive and complex video editing systems. With its elegant integration with iMovie, Slick Transitions & Effects provides the simplicity and ease of use that even a novice user can master.

Slick Transitions & Effects supports the full capabilities of iMovie 2. Many transitions include direction controls. And most effects have sliders to let users fine-tune the effect. The transitions and effects are accessible in the appropriate iMovie panel, and appear in the scrolling list after the Apple provided transitions and effects.

Slick Transitions & Effects is available for US$29.95. You can find more information at the GeeThree web site.

The Mac Observer Spin:

GeeThree's Stealth Serial Port is one of the neatest, and more useful, products to hit the Mac in a long time. If the quality and success of that product is any indication, users can expect great things from this latest release.
