by , 10:00 AM EST, December 14th, 2000

Monkey Byte Development has announced that the 3D water race game, Kawasaki JET SKI, has gone Gold Master and will be available for purchase tomorrow, December 15th, from the Monkey Byte web site. The new game title features beautifully rendered 3D graphics, and allows users to choose from a variety of water craft and "worlds" to race in. According to Monkey Byte:

Monkey Byte Development today announced that Kawasaki JET SKI¨ watercraft has gone Gold Master. JET SKI will be available for purchase beginning December 15th at the Monkey Byte eCommerce web site. Monkey Byte will have exclusive on-line sales for Christmas. Encore Software, Inc. will publish the title through retail channels.

JET SKI¨ watercraft is the artistic culmination of Eric Drumbor of Squidsoft, and the Monkey Byte Development team. "Seven months of full-time development went into this project and we are all very proud of what we've accomplished in a short amount of time," said Nicolas Murphy, President of Monkey Byte Development. Kawasaki JET SKI¨ watercraft is the first AND only 3D JET SKI racing title for the Mac out there! A fun physics model and suberb wave effects give JET SKI¨ watercraft a one of a kind feel.

Kawasaki JET SKI is available for US$24.95. You can find more information at the Monkey Byte web site.

The Mac Observer Spin:

There are no smash titles available this holiday season like there were last year (Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 Arena, Episode One: Racer), but there are a number of titles that should satisfy any gamer on your list, with this title, Sim Theme Park, Sin Gold, and Majesty near the top of the list.
