Lunar Software has updated their nifty weather utility, Earth Browser, to version 1.3.6. More than just providing the weather across the globe, Earth Browser shows volcanic activity, cloud cover, and allows users to peak around the planet via web-cams. According to Lunar Software:

Lunar Software, a provider of Macintosh shareware products, announces the release of EarthBrowser 1.3.6.

EarthBrowser 1.3.6 now allows access to weather information through secure proxy servers.

EarthBrowser is an innovative Earth simulation that combines an easy to navigate 3 dimensional globe with real-time weather conditions and 5 day forecasts. Live earthquakes, webcam images, volcanoes and current cloud formations are also featured. A screen saver option lets it take over your desktop with a gorgeous image when you are away from your computer. Great as an educational tool, a must have for avid weather watchers!
