Take More Control With New Control Strip Modules

Clarkwood Software announces the immediate release of CSM Pack 1.0, a set of 5 modules for Apple's Macintosh Control Strip. According to Clarkwood Software:

These modules make day to day tasks easier.

Features include:

  • Display the IP address currently assigned to your machine.
  • Easily open the CD tray on PowerBooks and hard to reach desktop Macs.
  • Hide and show application windows so you can quickly get to the desktop.
  • Display the current count of open files on your machine.
  • Quickly activate your screen saver.

    • CMS Pack 1.0 is available now for US$15 at the CSM Pack web site.

    Observers who use Macintosh Control Strip may want to check out this new application. Of interest may be the fact that all but one of the modules will run on 68K machines as well as PowerMacs so long as the OS is 7.5 or higher. It seems that less and less of the new applications are addressing the needs of the older machines even though there are still a lot of them in use.
