OS 9.1 Allows PowerBook Users To Take Their Display To Go

by , 11:00 AM EST, January 15th, 2001

With the recent release of OS 9.1, PowerBook users are now able to use Margi Systems display connector, 4MB Display-to-Go. The card allows PowerBook users to attach any digital or traditional analog display to their PowerBooks via a PC slot. According to Margi Systems:

This week at MAC World in San Francisco, Apple Computer announced MAC OS version 9.1. This version allows all PowerBook users, including the latest PowerBooks with FireWire to use Margi Systems Display-to-Go and Display-to-Go 4MB PC Card.

About Display-to-Go 4MB - Display-to-Go 4MB allows PowerBook users to connect digital (DVI) or analog (VGA) external displays. This solution takes advantage of the MAC OS multiple display support. This solution is perfect for PowerBook users to interface to DVI capable Cinema and Studio Displays as well as other flat panels, projectors, CRT's, plasma displays and digitizer tablets. With drivers for the MAC OS, Win 98, ME and 2000, Display-to-Go 4MB is the only solution on the market that can provide this total solution.

The Display-to-Go 4MB is available for US$299. You can find more information at the Margi Systems web site.
