Three-2-One Software has updated their MP3 tag editor, ID3X, to version 1.2. ID3X allows users to easily edit the ID3, or information tags, associated with MP3 files. The new version promises more stability and better performance. According to Three-2-One Software:

ID3X is an editor for easy manipulation of ID3 tags in mp3 music files.ID3 tags are used to store title, artist and other information in mp3 fileswhich can then be displayed in your favorite mp3 player application.

many *important* bug fixes regarding ID3V2 tags in mp3 files
easier handling
better performance
