TMO Unleashes New Forums For Mac Community

TMO Unleashes New Forums For Mac Community

by , 6:00 PM EDT, June 12th, 2001

Today we are happy to announce another long-overdue revision to The Mac Observer - new forums! These new forums use the familiar "UBB-style" interface, while still maintaining a very robust and efficient back-end. Called phpBB, the new engine adds (optional) user accounts, member rankings, new categories, new forums, private messages, and a host of new features for users. Our forum community has been growing rapidly of late, and we are excited to roll this out for you all to use!

The content from our old forums will remain for the foreseeable future for posterity's sake. The new forums include a Comments & Suggestion forum, so we hope you will tell us what you think, and maybe make a suggestion or two.

Thank you,

Bryan Chaffin
