Attention Developers - Apple Offers WWDC Session Recordings. Some Free, Some Discounted With Free WWDC PowerBook Bag

Apple dropped us a note about some WWDC sessions that are available for developers. The company traditionally makes many of the WWDC Conference Sessions available on tape, but this year the company is putting five sessions on its Apple Developer Connection Web site for free. Basic online membership to the Apple Developer Connection is free as well. Apple has also put together a promotional offer for ADC Select Membership that includes WWDC Conference Sessions on DVD, access to online viewing of sessions, and a free WWDC 2001 PowerBook bag. Now showing at the Apple Developer Connection: five free sessions from Worldwide Developers Conference 2001, including overviews of Cocoa, Darwin, Java, QuickTime, and WebObjects. Log in or join as a free ADC Online member and view the sessions at http://connect.apple.com/.

Through August 10, 2001, developers will receive a free WWDC 2001 PowerBook bag when they purchase WWDC 2001 Conference Sessions bundled with an ADC Select membership for US$900 -- US$200 off the regular Conference Sessions price. ADC Select members receive a full year of benefits, including the monthly ADC Mailing, pre-release software seeds, Developer Technical Support, and more.

Note that you must retain one (1) ADC TV key in your own account in order to view the sessions yourself.
• One (1) WWDC 2001 DVD-ROM set to view sessions in full video QuickTime format or through a browser interface without a live Internet connection. We will mail the DVD-ROM set to you as soon as it is ready in late August.
