Chrysler Ad Uses Titanium PowerBook In Magazine Ad
Mac Sightings - Chrysler Ad Uses Titanium PowerBook In Magazine Ad
by , 10:30 AM EST, November 30th, 2001
Observer Bruce Kees has a quick eye and a nose for Apple products. He sent us a note about an ad in the Smithsonian magazine he saw that features Apple's PowerBook G4. From Bruce:
Hi Mr. Editor,
I just thought I'd point out a beautiful Chrysler (two-page) ad on page 12-13 of the December 2001 Smithsonian magazine. On the left page there is a cell phone, an Iomega disk , a G4 PowerBook, and a PDA. On the right side there is a Chrysler Concord. All are silver. Keep up the great site.......Bruce Klees
Thanks to Bruce for the note and the nice thoughts about TMO. If you have a Mac Sighting, let us know!
The Mac Observer Spin:
We have seen other ads in the last two years that have featured some of Apple's computers as a source of positive comparison. It's amazing, if you really think about it for a moment, how often that has actually happened. Apple's industrial design, the overall impression of quality, and the fact that Apple has consistently carried the reputation for making a superior product all seem to carry outside of the computer world. Again, that's fairly amazing when you get down to it.Observer Comments
