Joy of Tech has announced the winner of the "Design an LCD iMac" Contest. The winner gets a few prizes including a guest spot in the Joy of Tech comic! According to Joy of Tech:

Nitrozac and Snaggy, creators of The Joy of Tech comic, are pleased to announce the winners of their Design an iMac contest. The Grand Prize winner is Andrew Thompson, whose fun, playful, and interactive Flash entry charmed the judges. Besides winning t-shirts and a movie, Andrew's entry earns him a coveted guest spot in a future Joy of Tech comic.

Says Snaggy, "We were blown away by the number and quality of the entries, and a few of them even look a bit like Luxo Lamps. ;-)"
