Storefront Tool Kit From 4D, Inc.

4D, Inc. has released a new app for Web developers, the 4D Business Kit. The 4D Business Kit is an eCommerce development tool designed for complete online storefront purchasing. The Kit includes a 4D integrated database server and the 4D Web integration component for catalogs, shopping carts, and payments systems. According to 4D, Inc:

4D, Inc., publishers of the 4th Dimension RAD/RDBMS Environment and 4D WebSTAR Server Suite, today announced the immediate availability of 4D Business Kit, an integrated multi-language, multi-store eCommerce development tool, designed for rapid development of storefront solutions.

The 4D Business Kit includes the complete scope of eCommerce functionality from catalog development, and shopping cart technology, through multi-currency payment systems, including tax calculations, to shipping, customer management and order tracking features.

Payment support includes modules for Authorize.net, Verisign or PayPal with tools for creating custom payment systems. Easy to use, complete storefront solutions can be developed using a quick setup wizard along with 4D Business Kit's optimized tag language. 4D Business Kit is a complete standalone solution or current 4D Developers can also integrate 4D Business Kit with existing 4D applications via 4D's IP component.
