TMO Announcement: Prepping For MACWORLD Tokyo With TMO Japanese Giveaway
by , 2:00 PM EST, March 11th, 2002
UPDATE: We have added some more items to the drawing being held later this week for our subscribers. We have some very cool Japanese Office v.X posters, some folders with Apple's logo on them, and some even more cool metal paper clips/bookmarks that are shaped like an @ sign with an Apple logo in the middle. These items have been added to each of the four packages below.

The Mac Observer is pleased to announce our first drawing for TMO Subscribers. If you are like us, you have tons of Mac and Apple stuff you have collected over the years. You have the way cool 6-colored Apple mug you took from your boss when he wasn't looking. You have the stickers that came with your new Mac that you still haven't gotten around to putting on your car. You have the new iMac poster you got off eBay about 45 seconds after the keynote ended this past January, and you even have that old Mac SE collecting dust in the corner "'cause you never know." Well, you probably don't have all that much Apple stuff from Japan, but we are here to help you out.
Just in time for MACWORLD Tokyo, we have put together four packages for the Mac collector who has everything, but only in English: it's a collection of some Apple literature for the Japanese market, plus two popular Japanese Mac magazines. Mac Fan is a magazine aimed at Mac consumers in Japan, the second largest market for Apple. Mac Power is a magazine aimed at prosumers and professional Mac users. The Mac Power magazine includes a CD and a very cool guide book to just about every term, technology, and application that a Mac user might come across (in Japan). We have scanned the covers of the items below for your perusal.
To be entered in the drawing, you have to be a TMO Subscriber. If you have already subscribed, you are already entered. A subscription allows you to get our content without advertising, and also allows you to support your favorite Mac online magazine. We are still offering our Charter memberships of US$19.95 for one year (regular price is US$24.95), or you can subscribe on a monthly basis for US$1.99 (regular price is US$2.49). Check out our Subscribers' page for more information and the subscription link. The drawing will be held on March 28th, and all TMO Subscribers who are subscribed on that day will be entered into the drawing. The four winners will be announced on March 29th.
You can click each thumbnail below to get a larger version of each image. None of the images are actual size unless coincidentally so.
