Faust's Friend Finds A Home And An Update At Saguaro Studios

Saguaro Studios, Inc. has released an update for Faust's Friend, bringing it to version 2.3. Faust's Friend is a news ticker app designed to display headlines from popular Mac news Web sites. The latest version features bug fixes and marks the transition of Faust's Friend to Saguaro Studios. According to Saguaro Studios:

Saguaro Studios, Inc. today shipped version 2.3 of Faust's Friend, a ticker application that displays headlines from several of the top Macintosh Websites. This maintenance release fixes issues with the existing channels and reflects the transition of Faust's Friend from Stimpsoft, Inc. to Saguaro Studios.

"Though as Mac fans we were sad to hear that Stimpsoft was closing its doors, we're excited that we've been able to provide a good home for Faust's Friend," said Sean McMains, Saguaro Studios' president.

Faust's Friend currently provides channels for the following Websites:

  • MacSlash
  • MacFixit
  • MacNN
  • Moreover
  • Slashdot
