Stone Studio Gets Updated
by , 7:00 AM EDT, April 30th, 2002
Stone Design has released an update for the Stone Studio suite. Stone Studio is a seven app bundle package designed to fully utilize aspects of Mac OS X. The update includes performance enhancements and expanded language support for several of the applications including Create and SliceAndDice. According to Stone Design:
Stone Design, the oldest and original Mac OS X software house, today announced immediate availability of new versions of all seven applications included in Stone Studio(tm), its flagship suite of applications designed from the ground up in Cocoa to take advantage of Mac OS X.
Stone Design has added Danish and Dutch to the list of languages built into Stone Studio, which include French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Japanese and English.
All seven of the applications have a new menu item under the application name: "Check for Updates". This allows realtime checking to see if you have the latest version of the Stone Studio - and directs you to the Stone Design download site if you do not.
Changes:
- Create now features Text Styles
- Hyphenation is now available on a per document basis, and there are other performance and stability enhancements which make it worth your while to download this new version
- SliceAndDice now lets you zoom in on your image, and you can display the dividers in another color by holding down the Control key while selecting
You can find more information about Stone Studio update at the Stone Design Web site. Stone Studio is available for US$299.00.
