Lunar Software has released an update for EarthBrowser, bringing it to version 1.6. EarthBrowser is an Earth sim with live earthquakes, Webcams, and worldwide weather conditions. The new version features improved resolution and cloud engine. According to Lunar Software:
Lunar Software, a provider of Macintosh shareware products, announces the release of EarthBrowser 1.6.
EarthBrowser is an innovative Earth simulation that combines an easy to navigate 3 dimensional globe with real-time weather conditions and 5 day forecasts. Live earthquakes, webcam images, volcanoes and current cloud formations are also featured. A screen saver option lets it take over your desktop with a gorgeous image when you are away from your computer. Great as an educational tool, a must have for avid weather watchers!
What's new to version 1.6:
- New earth map with 3 times more resolution
- New cloud engine with up to 2 days of animated clouds
