New World Cup Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent several different themes including military aircraft and absract imagery. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued 15 new desktops this week. The new desktops are: 9 Giant Petals (Giant/Dual Monitor), 1 Technosis/Anthraxis (abstract/light/rave), and 5 WorldCup 2002 Flags: Germany, Brazil, Korea, & Turkey (Vector). There is also a preview of future Technosis desktops.

About the desktops:

  • The new Giant Petals idea is an extension to the previous themes of Austere Petals and Giant/Dual Monitor desktops. The petals are a Tiger Lilly, A Acacia Leaf, and a Pink Rose. The desktops are available in Giant:
    1920x1200 and Dual Monitor: 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1152x864, & 1024x768
  • The new Technosis/Anthraxis desktop is a sibling of a previous desktop. The new pictures is called Mini Dragonette and has a different background color than the previous one
  • There is also a preview for the upcoming Technosis/Anthraxis desktops
  • And lastly, there is a new collection of desktops called WorldCup 2002. The desktops are vector-based and are about the four teams who made the semifinals: Germany, Brazil, Korea, & Turkey
  • In other news, a new revision of my site has been implemented – now it’s faster and easier to load. It is optimized for IE 5+, Netscape 6+, and Opera 4
