Sibelius Offers Competitive Upgrade to Encore and Finale Users

by , 7:00 AM EDT, July 29th, 2002

The Sibelius Group has announced an invitation for Encore and Finale software users to move up to Sibelius 2, the latest version of its feature rich application. Sibelus is a music notation app designed for musicians and composers, shipping with new enhancements and features. According to the Sibelius Group:

The Sibelius® Group, developer of market-leading music software, announced today that Sibelius 2 is now available to Finale and Encore software users for a limited time.

Finale and Encore users can have all the features and enhancements of Sibelius 2 - the music notation software program chosen by thousands of satisfied musicians and composers, including John Adams and Michael Kamen. Over 10,000 Finale and Encore users have already switched to using Sibelius.

The competitive upgrade offer began on July 1, 2002 and will continue for a limited time while upgrade stocks last.

Why Encore and Finale users should switch to Sibelius:

  • Sibelius is astonishingly easy to learn - its friendly manual explains all the main features in less than 60 pages, so users won't waste months learning a whole new program all over again.
  • Sibelius opens Finale files in seconds, so it's easy to convert existing music.
  • Sibelius is fully compatible with Mac OS X - the first major music application to take advantage of Apple's new operating system.
  • Sibelius keeps on getting better and better - the latest Sibelius 2 upgrade includes over 200 new features and significant feature enhancements.

For more information, stop by the Sibelius Group Web site. The Sibelus 2 upgrade is available for US$179.00.
