Amazon Offers Jaguar For $79!

by , 8:00 AM EDT, July 30th, 2002

If you feel that Apple is charging too much to upgrade from OS X 10.1 to Jaguar, take heart. Amazon is giving a $50 rebate on Apple's next iteration of OS X. The rebate is part of an Amazon back-to-school promotion, School of Rebates. Along with Jaguar, you'll find rebates and savings on products such as FileMaker Pro, Office v.X, Toast with Jam, CorelDRAW, Acrobat 5 and Bryce 3D. Check it out at

The Mac Observer Spin:

This is excellent news. We wonder how it is that Amazon can sell Jaguar so cheaply, but we honestly don't care as long as we get ours for $79. Cool!
