ArKaos has released an update for ArKaos VJ, bringing it to version 2.2. ArKaos VJ is a multimedia presentation app designed for visual artists working with live video and music. The new version features performance enhancements including new filters and drag and drop support. According to ArKaos:

The new version of ArKaos’s well-known VJ software, ArKaos VJ 2.2 is now OS/X compatible, making the creation of real-time and recorded visuals even simpler.

ArKaos VJ 2.2 is the first real-time multimedia program, offering an innovative way to edit and manipulate a visual performance whilst it is running – something that has not been possible before.

ArKaos VJ offers professional VJs, installation and event artists the ability to work with their own image and movie files along with loads of different effect types and sequences to make great live VJ performance. This MIDI authoring / editing tool empowers VISUAL ARTISTS and PROFESSIONAL VJs to create, record and play their own videos.
