Portraits & Prints Now Features Improved Cropping

by , 3:30 PM EDT, July 31st, 2002

Econ Technologies has released an update for Portraits & Prints, bringing it to version 1.2. Portraits & Prints is an app designed to fully utilize OS X and color printers for the production of digital photos. The latest version features improved cropping features and other enhancements. According to Econ Technologies;

Portraits & Prints™, the personal photo studio for Mac OS X, gets updated with several new features.

This update comes packed with more advanced cropping features, several photo scaling options, full Applescript support, and contrast control including the ability to apply enhancements to multiple images at once.

Complete control over cropping is realized with two new features. Crops can now be drawn while maintaining aspect ratio using the new “Constraint” feature.

Photos can now be scaled for printing in three different ways. They can be auto-cropped, fitted proportionally, or stretched to fit giving complete flexibility in printing photos.

You can find more information about Prints & Portraits at the Econ Technologies Web site. Prints & Portraits 1.2 is available for US$19.95.
