The Woz To Appear At WorldCon In San Jose This Week

Steve Jobs may have wowed the crowd who attended the Palo Alto Apple Store Jaguar Party, but these days, the other Steve of Apple's famed beginnings, Steve Wozniak, wows crowds of a different type. According to the San Jose Mercury News, the Woz will appear on a panel at this year's premier SciFi convention, WorldCon:ConJose, in San Jose, CA. The event starts this Thursday (8-29-02) and continues through the weekend until Monday (9-02-02) at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.

Mr. Wozniak will take part in a panel discussion on Saturday (8-31-02) at 2:30 PM, the discussion topic: "Personal Computers: What Science Fiction Didn't Predict."

Devotees of SciFi will not want to miss this. Stop by the ConJose Web site for more information.
