by , 2:00 PM EDT, September 26th, 2002

CDS advanced technology bv is now shipping to new lighting controllers, the LanBox-LCX and LCM. The LanBoxes are lighting controllers designed for theater and multi-media applications. The boxes feature 512 DMX channel handling and support for IR remotes. According to CDS advanced technology bv:

CDS advanced technology bv announces two new DMX lighting controllers: LanBox-LCX and LanBox-LCM.

LanBox-LCX:

The LanBox-LCX is the newest addition to our hardware product line. The "big brother" of the LanBox-LC+ supports more cues and can handle 512 DMX channels. The LanBox-LCX can communicate via all of it's ports at the same time and can be used in distributed network as well as in stand-alone applications.

The LanBox-LCX is intended for almost any DMX lighting applications like: theater, festivals, art, music, architectural, multimedia, etc.

LanBox-LCM:

The LanBox-LCM is the mini LCX version made to run stand-alone, but can also be controlled via the IR and serial/MIDI connection. It's very small, very low priced and very easy to use, yet it supports 512 lighting channels and has the same command set as the LCX!

The LanBox-LCM is intended for applications like: Bars, restaurants, theme parks, architectural, bands, museums, shops, exhibitions and all other applications where a simple controller is a must. Go cues and setting of channels can be done by a Philips VCR (RC5 code) or Sony VCR IR remote controller.

You can find more information about the LanBoxes at the CDS advanced technology bv Web site. The LanBox-LCX is available for US$550.00, and the LanBox-LCM is available for US$295.00.
