Keep Your Eye On The Globe With EarthBrowser

Lunar Software has released an update for EarthBrowser, bringing it to version 1.6.6. EarthBrowser is an Earth sim with live earthquakes, Webcams, and worldwide weather conditions. The new version features new Webcams and performance fixes. According to Lunar Software:

EarthBrowser is an innovative Earth simulation that combines an easy to navigate 3 dimensional globe with real-time weather conditions and 5 day forecasts. Live earthquakes, webcam images, volcanoes and current cloud formations are also featured. A screen saver option lets it take over your desktop with a gorgeous image when you are away from your computer. Great as an educational tool, a must have for avid weather watchers!

What's new to version 1.6.6:

  • Increased screensaver resolution
  • Fixes incompatability with Macintosh Manager software
  • New Webcams and volcanoes
  • Fixes problem with blank star background
