Comic Strip Viewer Released From Spiny Software

Comic Strip Viewer Released From Spiny Software

by , 4:00 PM EST, November 26th, 2002

Spiny Software has released a new app for Mac users, Comictastic 1.0. Comictastic is a comic strip viewing utility designed for enthusiasts of the popular entertainment genre. The app features built-in support for over 150 popular strips and loads favorites automatically. According to Spiny Software:

Spiny Software, developers of applications for Apple Mac OS X, is proud to announce the release of their freeware comic-strip viewer Comictastic 1.0.

The job of Comictastic is to make finding and viewing your favorite comic-strips a quick and convenient process. Supporting over 150 strips out-of-the-box, all you have to do is choose your favorites, and Comictastic does the rest.

After selecting your favorite comics from the extensive built-in list, simply allow Comictastic to download and cache the images. As images complete loading, Comictastic will notify you through an unobtrusive visual change to the comic's name. Select a name, and the comic appears in a handy viewing window. Enjoy today's comic? You can easily save comics to your disk in the PNG image format.

You can find more information about the Comictastic release at the Spiny Software Web site. Comictastic 1.0 is available as freeware.
