Buena Software Shipping After Effects And Final Cut Plug-In

by , 5:00 PM EST, December 30th, 2002

Buena Software, Inc. has released a new app for Mac users, Dissolve Factory plugin. The Dissolve Factory is an After Effects and Final Cut Pro plug-in designed for expanding creative control over cross dissolve transitions. The plug-in ships with luminance and color dissolve support. According to Buena Software:

Buena Software, Inc. has announced the availability of the Dissolve Factory plugin for Adobe After Effects for MacOS and Windows, and Apple's Final Cut Pro. The Dissolve Factory plugin allows the user to create new types of cross dissolve transitions between video clips.

The Dissolve Factory plugin can create a wide variety of cross dissolves. It allows the user to choose what properties of the input video clips to use.

For example, you can use the luminance to create a film dissolve, fading dark areas more quickly than light areas. Or you can choose individual colors to fade more or less quickly.

You can even choose different properties for the 2 input clips. The plugin opens up a whole range of new and interesting possibilities of tasteful cross dissolves that lend your work an artistic look without being gaudy.

You can find more information about the Dissolve Factory plugin at the Buena Software, Inc. Web site. The Dissolve Factory plugin is available for US$29.95.
