Mac Gaming News - EverQuest For Mac Now Shipping

Sony Online Entertainment is now shipping EverQuest for Mac to retail stores. EverQuest is a massive multiplayer online game set in a giant 3D fantasy world. The Mac edition features EverQuest Classic and four expansion packs. According to Sony Online Entertainment:

Sony Online Entertainment Inc., a worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online gaming, announced today that EverQuest(R) Macintosh Edition is now available at retail stores nationwide.

Now over 25 million Apple Macintosh users everywhere can now experience the leading massively multiplayer online role-playing game on systems running Mac OS X 10.2.5.

With compelling content, top-notch customer service and an online world that continues to expand and improve, EverQuest is one of the largest fantasy worlds ever created online. EverQuest is a real-time 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game where hundreds of thousands of players come together to take on the personas of brave warriors and mystical wizards then adventure across the face of a huge world (as well as its moon and extra-planar zones), fighting hordes of monsters and uncovering treasure troves of magical artifacts.

EverQuest Macintosh Edition includes: EverQuest(R) Classic and its first four expansions: The Ruins of Kunark(R), The Scars of Velious(R), The Shadows of Luclin(TM) and The Planes of Power(TM). EverQuest Macintosh Edition requires OSX 10.2.5.
