Everyday Software Updates Maquarium With New Chemical Tracking

by , 7:00 AM EDT, June 27th, 2003

Everyday Software has released an update for Maquarium, bringing it to version 1.5. Maquarium is an aquarium management app designed for managing multiple aquariums like setups found at pet stores. The update features support for 7 new marine chemicals and an expanded fish profile database. According to Everyday Software:

Everyday Software is proud to announce a major update to its exclusive Mac OS X aquarium management software, Maquarium.

Maquarium is aquarium management software for the novice or expert fish keeper. It allows users to track chemicals, schedule tasks, keep notes, and manage inventory. Maquarium features a fish profile database, which is always being updated, that helps you track and maintain the delicate needs of all the fish in the tank.

This update includes much greater support for marine aquariums by allowing users to track 7 new marine specific chemicals. It also includes the most requested feature additions, such as: a much refined user interface, a custom configurable conditions list, automatic version checking and downloading, a new fish notes section, the ability to add tasks to Apple's iCal with a push of a button, and numerous new fish additions to its built-in fish profile database.

You can find more information about the Maquarium update at the Everyday Software Web site. Maquarium 1.5 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$12.00.
