FontAgent Pro Updated With Quark 6 Auto-Activation

Insider Software has released an update for FontAgent Pro, bringing it to version 1.3. FontAgent Pro is a font management utility designed for multiple font manipulation. The update adds Quark 6 auto-font activation. According to Insider Software:

Insider Software announced today the immediate availability of a new version of FontAgent Pro, the number one-rated utility for font management and repair.

The new release includes an Xtension for Quark XPress 6, which automates the process of locating and
opening the correct fonts in any Quark Xpress 6 document. Released this month, Quark Xpress 6 is a mainstay of Macintosh design professionals, but until Insider Software's new release, auto-activation of fonts was not available for Quark.

With this update to FontAgent Pro, users of Quark Xpress 6 merely open the document they want to work on and FontAgent Pro automatically activates the correct fonts. If required fonts are not available, a message appears that displays the font information relating to the unavailable fonts.

You can find more information about the FontAgent Pro update at the Insider Software Web site. The FontAgent Pro update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$99.95.
