Apple Launches New Printer Promotion With HP

Apple has launched a new printer promotion with HP. It's called "You save. They rave." The promo offers a US$99 rebate when you buy an HP printer before September 27 of this year. The text from Apple:

Purchase a Mac and an HP DeskJet or Photosmart printer or any HP all-in-one product between June 29 and September 27, 2003, and get $99* back. This offer is available only at participating Apple Authorized Resellers.

The offer is good through the online Apple Store, Apple Store retail locations, and Apple authorized retailers. The offer is through a mail-in rebate, which you can download from Apple's Web site.

To get more information on the offer, visit the Hot Deals page for the Apple Store. From there, you click on the "You Save. They Rave." offer, which takes you to an information page. If you buy online, click the "Buy now" buttone, which takes to the Apple Store. From there, simply order a Mac, and a list of the company's special offers is included in the ordering process, where you can add a printer.

We checked through the ordering process, and as of this writing, the "You save. They rave." offer is not included in the list of special offers. Instead, the now-expired "Improve your image" promotion is included, which was essentially the same deal. In any event, the important aspect of the new promotion is the downloadable rebate form, which is independent of the ordering process.
