Revolution 2.1 In Beta Testing

by , 6:00 PM EDT, July 16th, 2003

Runtime Revolution has announced the beta testing of Revolution 2.1. Revolution is a cross-platform software development tool designed for creating applications for multiple platform deployment. The latest release features improved Aqua support and enhanced Asian market application creation. According to Runtime Revolution:

Runtime Revolution today announced Revolution 2.1, the latest update to its user-centric, multi-platform software development environment.

Revolution 2.1, now in beta test, contains dozens of improvements that make building full-featured applications for every platform easier than ever before. OS X developers will benefit from the addition of "metal" appearance, drawers, and other improvements to make their applications even more Aqua-friendly.

New improvements to the Unicode architecture make Revolution an even stronger tool for creating international applications for Asian markets. Building database front ends is simpler than ever before, with full access to MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Valentina - as well as ODBC - now built in to every edition of Revolution.

You can find more information about the Runtime at the Runtime Revolution Web site. Runtime 2.0 is available starting at US$75.00 for a limited time.
