New Site Dedicated To Apple Retail Stores Announced

Gary Allen has announced a new Web site dedicated to Apple retail stores called ifo Apple Store. The site is designed for devotees and fans of new Apple store openings and features news and videos of past and upcoming store openings. According to Gary Allen:

The site was sparked by my interest in Apple's retail operation, as well as my participation in four camp-outs in front of (ifo) the Bay Area Apple stores for their grand openings. The site includes recent news about Apple stores, a detailed examination of the stores (buildings, properties, sizes, lay-outs, furniture, design, employees, products, and more), and individual reviews of the Bay Area stores whose grand opening I've attended.

The site also includes links to other Web sites with grand opening information, including Quicktime movies of the events.

I'm part of a loose-knit group that is anticipating the opening of Apple stores in Corte Madera (later this year?) and San Francisco (Spring, 2004). We all plan to camp out overnight at the stores to celebrate their grand opening.
