Shapiro Shipping New Photoshop Plug-In

by , 1:00 PM EDT, September 29th, 2003

Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc. is now shipping Asiva Shift+Gain Component for Photoshop. Asiva Shift+Gain is a Photoshop plug-in designed for color manipulation sans the need for masks. According to Shapiro Consulting Group:

Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc., Austin, Texas, announced today that it has released it's third plug-in.

The new plug-in called Asiva Shift+Gain Component will be shown at the upcoming Photoshop World tradeshow in Miami.

The Asiva Shift+Gain Component plug-in is based on SCGI's patented image enhancement technology, allowing for users to perform color changes without time-consuming masks. It features all 16-bit per component internal processing, even on 8-bit images. This provides 256 times the bandwidth and precision of 8-bit processing.

Using Asiva's proprietary curves technology, users are able to make near perfect selections based on the Hue, Saturation and Luminance components of the image and then very accurately adjust the Hue, Saturation, Value and RGB/CMYK components of that selection. Asiva's curves also allow for filter roll-offs so all effects appear completely natural and a built in Color Sampler Tool provides a good starting-point for setting the three curves.

You can find more information about Asiva Shift+Gain Componen at the Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc. Web site. Asiva Shift+Gain Component is available for US$69.00.
