Ten Thumbs Updated With Expanded Teacher Features

Runtime Revolution has released an update for Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor, bringing it to version 2.4. Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor is an educational utility designed for teaching students the basic mechanics of keyboard typing. The update expands admin features and addresses bug fixes. According to Runtime Revolution:

Runtime Revolution today announced that Ten Thumbs Typing Tutor 2.4 is available for public download.

Ten Thumbs teaches the skill of touch typing in an accessible, fun, and step-by-step way. It's ideal for everyone - from new computer users who want to learn to touch type, to experienced typists who want to improve their skills.

Ten Thumbs version 2.4 adds a whole range of new features, including:

  • Extra teacher options to control student access to games
  • Option to save the student files in the student's home directory
  • Improvements in the way passwords are handled
  • Bug fixes and other minor improvements
