Runtime Revolution and Messimer Computing, Inc. have released a new app for Mac users, PerceptorTools. PerceptorTools is a set of tools designed for creating courseware for students. The app features cross-platform compatibility and ships with two pre-built stacks. According to Runtime Revolution:

Messimer Computing, Inc. and Runtime Revolution Ltd. today announced the release of PreceptorTools, the easy-to-use courseware builder.

Teachers, trainers, and students can use PreceptorTools to develop teaching modules, instructional aids, and presentations for every major platform in minutes, without any programming needed.

Beginners can get started right away, while experienced Revolution developers can use Revolution's rich feature set to customize PreceptorTools for their own needs. Teachers and trainers will find PreceptorTools useful in the classroom, online and as a tool to speed up the creation of cross-platform standalone educational applications.
