NetNewWire Updated With Bug Fixes And More

Ranchero Software has released an update for NetNewsWire, bringing it to version 1.0.7. NetNewWire is a utility designed for automated Internet news harvesting. The update features several bug fixes and other enhancements including new favicon additions. According to Ranchero Software:

Ranchero Software announces the release of new versions of the award-winning NetNewsWire, the easy-to-use RSS Web newsreader for Mac OS X, and its freeware version, NetNewsWire Lite.

This release fixes one particular performance bug, where during a refresh sometimes HTML descriptions would be slow to appear.

This release adds support for favicons and feed URLs, boosts performance, and fixes several bugs. The full version includes a new widescreen view especially suited for laptops. The Sites Drawer has also been updated with this release.

You can find more information about the NetNewsWire update at the Ranchero Software Web site. NetNewsWire 1.0.7 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$39.95. NetNews Wire Lite is available as freeware.
