New Web Cam Utility Beta Version Released

Optima System has released a beta version of CamSpinner, bringing it to version 1.0b2. CamSpinner is a Web cam utility designed for posting Web based images. The app features built-in page templates and automated image uploading. According to Optima Systems:

Today Optima System announced the first release of CamSpinner, a new Web cam utility for Macintosh.

CamSpinner lets users publish a Web cam on a Web site, grab still images and record QuickTime and MPEG movies using iSight or virtually any other QuickTime compatible Web cam.

CamSpinner features:

  • automatic uploads of images with FTP
  • built-in page templates
  • custom on-line/off-line messages
  • Web cam history
  • AppleScript support
  • support for OS X Keychain
  • Salling Clicker support

You can find more information about the CamSpinner beta release at the Optima System Web site. CamSpinner is available as freeware while in the beta testing period.
