SubRosaSoft Shipping New Digital Camera Image Recovery App

SubRosaSoft Shipping New Digital Camera Image Recovery App

by , 1:00 PM EST, February 27th, 2004

SubRosaSoft, Ltd. has released a new app for Mac users, FlashRestore 1.0. FlashRestore is a utility designed for recovering deleted image files from a digital camera's flash card. The app is compatible with popular storage media including Memory Sticks and CompactFlash. According to SubRosaSoft:

SubRosaSoft.com Ltd., a software company based in New Zealand focusing on system utility and privacy software, today announced the immediate availability of FlashRestore version 1.0.

FlashRestore is an easy to use application that has been designed to recover image files that have been deleted intentionally or accidentally from your digital camera’s media. It is compatible with most Memory Sticks, SmartMedia, CompactFlash I & II, and SD/XD Cards.

Digital cameras are quickly replacing traditional film cameras as the choice of cameras. Not only are the prices of digital cameras dropping quickly, but the image quality of the latest digital cameras actually rival the traditional film based contenders. Although the contents of a digital camera can't be erased by passing through an airport x-ray machine, they are not exempt from other mishaps. Contents of a digital camera can also accidentally be erased.

You can find more information about the FlashRestore release at the SubRosaSoft, Ltd. Web site. FlashRestore is available for US$24.95.
