Inside Mac Games Announces New DVD Based Game Subscription Service

Inside Mac Games has announced a new subscription service for Mac gamers, the MacGames DVD. The service delivers popular Mac games, demos, and updaters on DVD- eight times a year. Some scheduled games for inclusion on the DVD are Max Payne and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. According to Inside Mac Games:

Inside Mac Games today announced a new subscription service called the MacGames DVD. Delivered 8 times a year, the DVD will be featuring the best bin Macintosh game demos, shareware, updates, add-ons, trailers, cheaters, band much more. Inside Mac Games' popular MacGames CD subscription service, first introduced in 1995, will be phased out over the coming year.

The very first DVD version of the MacGames DVD will be mailed out in early April.

Here's a list of the games IMG is currently offering with a MacGames DVD subscription:

  • Max Payne
  • Myth III
  • Tropico
  • Master of Orion III
  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003
  • Return to Castle Wolfenstein
  • Nascar Racing 2003
  • Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force II
  • Freedom Force
  • Baldur's Gate II

You can find more information about the MacGames DVD subscription service at the Inside Mac Games Web site. The subscription is available for US$49.00 for one year.
