WebPrint Plus X Updated With Panther Enhancements
by , 3:00 PM EST, March 31st, 2004
Mac Ease has released an update for WebPrint Plus X, bringing it to version 3.1. WebPrint Plus is a printing utility that is designed to allow users to print selected bits of information directly from a Web site. The update features Panther enhancements and menu mods. According to Mac Ease:
MacEase is pleased to announce the release of WebPrint Plus X 3.1 for OS X.
WebPrint Plus X provides an easy-to-use, unique, and powerful set of universal tools for collecting, saving, printing, and editing information with the Mac that work in virtually any program (and on the Internet), that accelerate printing, that save users money by significantly reducing their use of consumables, that let users select and save or print anything from a single character to multiple pages, and that greatly improve users' productivity when using their Macs!
WebPrint Plus X 3.1 adds several enhancements to the highly rated WebPrint Plus X utility.
WebPrint Plus X 3.0 added many new features to WebPrint Plus X, including the most innovative contextual menu available on the Mac. WebPrint Plus X 3.1 includes the following enhancements:
- While there had been only a few reports of WebPrint Plus having a problem communicating with some applications in Panther (a dialog box would appear saying nothing had been selected or the same selection was being saved or printed again when this wasn't the case), new code has been added to WebPrint Plus X 3.1 that eliminates the possibility of this occurring. This new code also enables WebPrint Plus to work with an even greater number of applications
- WebPrint's contextual menu has the new option of being able to open WebPrint's preferences
- WebPrint's dialog boxes have been updated and they now include additional helpful information
You can find more information about the WebPrint Plus X update at the Mac Ease Web site. WebPrint Plus X is available for US$34.95.
