FileMaker Meetings And FileMaker Tasks Versions 2.0 Now Shipping

FileMaker, Inc.has released new versions of FileMaker Meetings and FileMaker Tasks, bringing them both to version 2.0. FileMaker Tasks is a utility designed for task management, FileMaker Meetings is a utility designed for meeting management. The latest releases feature suport for FileMaker Pro 7 and other enhancements. According to FileMaker:

FileMaker, Inc. today announced new versions of its popular office applications, FileMaker Meetings 2.0 and FileMaker Tasks 2.0, meetings management and tasks management software designed to improve individual and team productivity.

The two software applications include new features and work with the recently introduced FileMaker Pro 7 database software, which has already received high ratings from several technology publications.

FileMaker Meetings 2.0 adds five essential new features, including:

  • Organize meeting-relevant information in one place, including supporting documents
  • Share common data like contacts and tasks between multiple FileMaker Applications (FileMaker Tasks 2.0, FileMaker Meetings 2.0)
  • Save frequently used Finds, or searches, for later reuse, which saves time entering frequently used search criteria
  • Compile project histories or summaries of outstanding action items with Meetings&Mac226; built-in reporting
  • Create multiple windows at will to construct a personalized work environment.

FileMaker Tasks 2.0 adds a number of exciting new features, including:

  • Easily create and assign tasks and subtasks, either as an individual or for and entire group
  • Save frequently used Finds, or searches, for later reuse, which saves time entering frequently used search criteria
  • Create reports to check the status of outstanding tasks or just tasks for a specific project or group
  • Share common data like contacts and tasks between multiple FileMaker Applications (FileMaker Tasks 2.0, FileMaker Meetings 2.0)
  • Create multiple windows at will to construct a personalized work environment
