PrintMagic Updated With Panther Mods

by , 1:00 PM EDT, May 25th, 2004

MacEase has released an update for PrintMagic, bringing it to version 3.5. PrintMagic is designed to be a fully customizable print utility that offers many features including on-the-fly note attachment and user defined keyboard short cuts. The update features Panther enhancements and on-the-fly note options. According to MacEase:

MacEase is pleased to announce the release of PrintMagic 3.0 for OS X. PrintMagic for OS X provides users with complete control over the information they print!

PrintMagic for OS X provides users with complete control over the information they print!

PrintMagic is highly customizable, PrintMagic greatly enhances users' productivity when working with their Macs, and PrintMagic saves users a significant amount of money by dramatically reducing the amount of ink/toner and paper that's used when printing (especially important in these days of budget crunching)!

NEW IN PRINTMAGIC 3.5:

  • When using PrintMagic 3.0 in Panther, there was a possibility a dialog box could appear saying nothing had been selected or the same selection was being printed again when this wasn't the case. New code has been added to PrintMagic 3.5 that eliminates the possibility of this occurring. This new code also enables PrintMagic to work with an even greater number of applications
  • Users now have the option of adding on-the-fly notes to anything they print via drag-and-drop. This applies both to images and text that they drag-and-drop onto either the small printer icon on PrintMagic's display or onto PrintMagic's Desktop Printer
  • PrintMagic's dialog boxes have been updated and enhanced
  • Much of PrintMagic's code has been rewritten and optimized while numerous additional enhancements were added to PrintMagic

You can find more information about the PrintMagic update at the MacEase Web site. PrintMagic 3.5 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$24.95.
