Mariner Software has released an update for Mariner Write, bringing it to version 3.6.1. Mariner Write is a utility designed for word processing on Macintosh systems. The latest update features several enhancements including expanded language dictionaries and numerous fixes. According to Mariner Software:

The latest version introduces several bug fixes and a few feature additions.
Included in the release are the following new features mand additions:
- New - Danish Dictionary
- New - French Dictionary
- New - Option - delete will delete the previous word
- Fixed - Page setup bug (choosing printer would launch a script)
- Fixed - Spell Catcher incompatibility
- Fixed - RTF import (unstacking ruler paragraph styles)
- Fixed - Character format dialog was not accessible when editing style sheets
- Fixed - Next style setting not accessible for paragraph style sheets
- Fixed - Spell check would not reset when a new word was learned
- Fixed - Application would crash when quit was chosen while saving
- Fixed - Find dialog "Next" button was disabled when searching for formats
- Fixed - Application would crash when auto-saving some imported documents
- Fixed - Plus several others minor bug fixes
