Uwerkz Updates DataWerkz With Table Summaries

Uwerkz has released an update for DataWerkz, bringing it to version 1.2. DataWerkz is a utility designed for database accessing. Theupdate features support for a table summary and improved MySQL support. According to Uwerkz:

Uwerkz is pleased to announce the immediate availability of DataWerkz 1.2.

DataWerkz offers FileMaker style database access for MySQL and PostgreSQL, with compatibility with other databases to be offered in the future.

A powerful import facilty allows the import and export of many different formats including Microsoft Excel files. The software allows the creation, editing and access of databases, publishing of results as PDF, RTF and E-Mail. A form builder allows the user to create their own forms for easier entry and access of data.

After comments from users, DataWerkz 1.2 includes, amongst others, the following new features:

Table Summary, easily see the layout of your database

Improved support for MySQL, in particular, 'auto_increment' fields

New export/import features

Improved PostgreSQL support
