MacMovieMaker.com has announced the first annual short film contest for users of iMovie of Final Cut Pro. The contest requires the theme "Making Movies on a Mac" and designed as a tribute to Apple and it's dedication to video editing and filmmakers. According to MacMovieMaker.com:

MacMovieMaker.com is pleased to announce its first ever short film contest!

As a tribute to the Mac and Apple's vision of video editing for the masses, our first contest is to create a 5 minutes (or less) short film with the theme, "Making Movies on a Mac"

You can find more information about the film contest at the MacMovieMaker.com Web site. The contest runs from September 13th through November 1st.
