Apple Updates iTunes To Version 4.7.1, Adds iPod Shuffle Support

Apple has updated its iTunes software to version 4.7.1. The minor revision adds support for the new iPod Shuffle flash-based digital music player, as well as performance improvements. The brief note from Apple:

iTunes 4.7.1 includes support for iPod shuffle and other performance improvements.

iTunes 4.7.1 is available now in OS X 10.3's Software Update panel. The download weighs in at 8.6MB. As of this writing, iTunes 4.7.1 is not yet available from the Apple Downloads page.
