Konica Minolta Introduces DiMAGE Z5 Digital Camera

Konica Minolta USA announced Friday the DiMAGE Z5, an update to the DiMAGE Z3, with five megapixel resolution, and a 2.0-inch LCD display.
The camera has a 12x optical zoom lens, delivering a focal range equivalent to a 35-420mm range on a 35mm camera lens. With the digital zoom, total zoom is equivalent to 35-1680mm (35mm equivalent).
The DiMAGE Z5 (see photo below) also has a anti-shake system, along with a video AF system that the company says is the fastest in its class.
Imaging Resource: Other features include an electronic viewfinder, burst mode of 2 frames per second (or 10 frames per second at a reduced resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels), Super Macro mode for shooting subjects as close as 0.4 inches from the lens, full manual controls, hot-shoe and internal flash, 30fps VGA movie mode, Secure Digital storage, NTSC / PAL video and USB connectivity, and power from four AA batteries.
The DiMAGE Z5 replaces the Z3 with its smaller, 1.5-inch LCD display, and four megapixel resolution.
Pricing and availability for the DiMAGE Z5 have not yet been announced.
