Subject: Comparable to Sony Drive?

Sony produces a very similar drive called the DRX-710UL/T for about $50 less and it burns all the same kinds of media for 2x as fast.

Subject: Not *really* comparable

The Sony doesn't look as though it's bus-powered, which the MCE is. MCE = portable; Sony = desktop.
