Casemandu, Prie Podwallet New iPod Case Options

A new high-impact case and a designer leather wallet join the growing list of iPod accessories.

The Prie Podwallet (see photo below) from Tunewear is a compact wallet for Apple's iPod and iPod mini. The wallet features elastic rubber on the sides to keep the iPod from moving, a removable black leather soft face cover for screen protection, access holes for the iPod connector and headphone jack, a meshed net bag with zippers, and space for credit cards, a name card holder, a currency and document pocket, and a belt loop.

The Prie Podwallet is priced at US$59.95 and will ship by the end of February.

Hook Industries has introduced Casemandu, a waterproof, dust-proof and shock-proof case for the Apple iPod and iPod mini. The case, made of high-impact plastic, has a foamed inner lining that can be adjusted to hold any size MP3 player. It also has a side channel to hold cables.

The Casemandu retails for $49.95 and comes in white, pink, blue, green or black.

That's Fugly. Such a beautiful iPod. Such an ugly case. Where are you going to stick that? In your pocket? Look at the extra inch of stuff on the side.
