DV Dailies - Panasonic To Ship New DVCPRO/DV Deck In April

Panasonic Broadcast has announced the release of a new VTR designed for NLE editing and situations where portable decks are necessary. The AJ-SD255 records to both DVCPRO and DV tape stock up to 126 minutes, and support for DVCAM playback. The deck also converts "unlocked audio" from a DV input into "locked" audio via an optional Firewire interface.
